Saab Owners Convention

Postby 321go » Wed Jul 25, 2012 5:15 am

Anybody from here going to the SOC in Iowa? I only found out about it a couple weeks ago, but think I'll go next week since it's only about 4ish hrs from me.

I'll be there in my C900. Say hello if you see some pudgy blonde guy in or near this:

Wow looks like a pretty depressing turnout of 99's, 4?

I saw someone mentioned only one 99 Turbo at the show.

Carlisle is becoming a big event for the 99.

yeah, I too was disappointed on the number of 99's. 4 was it. There were more Sonett's and 96's.
The convention will be back in the northeast area next year, so you all can boost up the numbers. No city picked yet, though.

When I went to the one in Colorado a few years ago there were more 96's than anything else by quite a margin. And all the 96 guys didn't want to talk to any of us with those new-fangled cars from the '80's.... :dunno:

99 vs. 96 or Sonett turnout has always been like that since the first SOC I went to in 1997.

Who is putting on next year's SOC?
The kind of dirty that doesn't wash off :eyebrows:

Who is putting on next year's SOC?

All they said was that it will be in the Northeast somewhere. No other details were known yet.
