This solo time trials event is event 7 of 8 in the Penna. Hill Climb championship.
Team SAAB was just me and I struggled here in spring when it was event 1. The same Mini I have been scrapping with beat me then and beat me again this fall at event 7. I ran 4 seconds faster this time , but he ran 5 seconds faster. The guy is becoming a better driver and his car and his car is getting more go faster stuff each event. The mini really handles well on the flat track, while I still have some body roll. I'm waiting for a Quaife which won't get here until next years events and I am going to have to work up some more HP to offset the mini's superior handling.

Anyway , I still am ahead in seasonal points for the class.
Forgot to say, I bent a shift fork after 4 runs and could not keep the car in 3rd gear ,so I put it on the trailer and missed the last 3 - 3 lap runs Sunday afternoon. Engine and trans are swinging on the hoist as I write this.
I need to at least make one run on September 14-15 @ Weatherly Hill climb and finish higher then 4th to keep my lead. There are only 3 cars entered so far in the class. I'll be up and running before this week is done.

Yes that is true. It spikes up to about 16 PSI and settles about 13-14 and holds there. Bigger intercooler and maybe slightly bigger turbo is next. Waiting for Quaife and 3" down pipe to arrive. Still may stay with 2.1 liter and 10 to 1 compression next year. Actually I should be able to run either car. I registered a second reserved number (13) for the red Notch.
After three hot 1.2 mile laps it runs builds up a little pressure in the catch tank, but the head gasket is still in one piece.
Boy , am I going to be broke !!

You might find water injection to be more benefici al than a bigger intercooler

I forgot that you had talked about "13". You could just drive the second "team car # 13 and I could drive the other. LOL

With the name "Jason" 13 seemed like the obvious choice...

913 was only because they wouldn't let me use 13 since someone had it reserved.

Last week I was looking to renew #313 for another year and then I saw #13 was open. My birthday is 3/13 , but I had used 13 as it seemed lucky for me. I just Paid the money for both numbers to Matt Rowe @ Fall Jefferson. Since I may use either car next year depending on the event, I thought 2 different numbers might be the way to go.
If you are heart broken, I could be persuaded to consider giving it up.
