The team just got back from a very successful finish at STPR!

Highlights include:
-Fixing a broken throttle cable with vice grips in the middle of SS4
-Steering wheel falling off (co-drivers fault I sware!) and getting friendly with the ditch
-Borrowing spare turn signal stalk from Ian's street car (saab90089) after we broke ours in above incident
-catching and passing cars on nearly every stage.
-Nearly killing a photog on SS5 after a missed L1 call.
- A near roll on SS8 after meeting with the ditch and recambering the rear axle
- Trying to tow a stranded open class car out of a ditch and off its roof on SS9 (arent we good samaritans?)
- Pulling into the final control well past midnight with the car still purring like a kitten

more details to follow after we get some rest!

We entered only for regional scoring since we don't run any other rally america events, thats why we arent on the national results.

I believe that is related to national vs regional results.

The casualty list for me was one flat tire on the subie after transitting to a spectating area on some enjoyable "off the beaten path" type roads.

I will let Luke explain the events of the rally related to the car.

I will say that I was HAPPY to arrive at the airport for the "pancake breakfast" at 2am and see that Saab lined up with the other cars after arriving under it's own power. I also prefer loading any car onto a trailer under it's own power, makes it a lot easier than pushing it onto the trailer (by person or other car) or lifting the front to roll up and over the fenders on a trailer that's too narrow.

Yeah, I'll be posting a couple in-car clips soon as I finish some work. Do you want me to post Josh's photos to the gallery?

Congrats Luke!

You guys looked good at the water splash. I got to watch that stage and stage 7 I got to see you trasit by.

Glad I could be of help to you with the turn-signal lever. Hope I didn't get you guys in trouble at the hotel sunday morning. I had asked the lady if you were still there and she said you checked out. I did tell her "oh they must have another vehicle which they took to breakfast".

I know Tensen was taking pictures w/a media pass at this event and our buddy Weasel had his photography equipment (aboout $7K camera/lens) with him at the water splash. If they have any good pics I'll post them up here.

Yeah thanks again for offering up the turn signal stalk from the car you drove to the event! We made a quick wiring adapter and it worked perfectly. Our night would have been interesting without the ability turn the high beams on/off!
I will always be sure to double check the steering wheel QR when the co-driver installs it, a loose steering wheel in hand is something I never hope to experience again, truly terrifying.
