The rally was run with Great Race rules. Time and speed, no distance. you can only use a speedometer a clock and a stopwatch, no speed pilot no rally computer no GPS, cell phone either. I discovered the speedometer in my car is neither accurate nor linear. They guys that did really well have timewise speedometers which are really accurate, and they also have a really good handle on the acceleration and deceleration profiles for their cars as you have to factor all off speed maneuvers and correct for them to get a good score.

There is another rally in Delaware in October put on by the same group and I may enter if I can talk my navigator (wife) into it. She did admit it was more fun than going to Carlisle and I could link a trip to Longwood gardens or Philly to entice her.
Thinking some year I would like to enter the Great Race so I am ISO a pre 72 99 to build up.
