Maryhill Hillclimb 2016

Postby 99Super » Tue Sep 20, 2016 3:38 pm

Well, that wraps it up for the season. I beat my previous best by nearly 7 seconds at 2:12.172!
GoPro was mounted on my airdam.

Then I loaded the car to head down to ORP for the trackday...

Seven second, WTF? Say, 88 feet per second at 60mph.. = 616 feet difference. That is big...
Well done.

That was my assumption taking a closer look at the picture. A good test of the gearbox. I think that is why my box has not blown yet because I just run street tires.

Birdie,

The wheels are Rota "RB"'s 15"x7", 12mm offset. No spacers. They were about $500US on ebay. :luke:

I used to run 225/45-15 tires and didn't have any problems w/ rubbing. These are 225/50-15 tires and rub just a bit on the inside lip of the wheel arch. I plan to trim them over the winter.

Good luck on the hillclimb build!

John
