Sorensen Saab Rally Team in the Newspaper

Postby SaabRoomie85W » Thu Sep 13, 2007 8:00 am

Headline: Doylestown Driver helps team to fifth-place finish
On page 27 of the Bucks County Herald, big color photo, the entire press release (uneditted) that I had sent, including the part that says:

"This is the Sorensen Saab Rally Team's third and best performing rally season yet, with additional racing events scheduled this fall. The team is currently accepting local and corporate sponsorships for its 2008 rally season. Interested parties should contact Luke Sorensen at saabfarm@verizon.net or consult the team website at www.SAABRally.com.

Pretty sweet, right? So it's a tiny local newspaper, but we finally got some publicity. Plus the picture looks great.

If anyone can find the link to the article, please post it here. GA - could you post the picture that we sent?

So the plan for the next race is to get a picture of the entire crew with the car to send to the RIT, U of R, Lehigh, and F&M alumni newsletters. They love publishing stuff like this. I will write up a detailed press release summarizing the entire 2007 season. If we're lucky, we will be featured in all of them and wealthy alumni will be sending checks our way!

So make sure you look pretty for BRS:)

congrats!

just curious, who went to F&M? I live in Lancaster so I know the college well but rarely hear other people talk about it.

RIT can't even get their alumni to send money back to the school, much less a Alumni's rally team. :D

Just kidding, I think this is sweet. Who wrote the article? Next time- the front page!
