SAABtoberfest 2007 is this coming weekend. I havent gone in a couple years because it always conflicted with a rally. But this year i might be able to make it, at least for a 1/2 day. For those who havent gone before its a nice little brisk tour with some fun stretches of road that cover several of the PA hill climb association's courses (Giants dispair, weatherly). The run starts in Wilkes Barre, Pa.

Yes this is a wonderful event I'm pretty disappointed that I will not be able to attend this year. First time in 5 years .
For those going have a great time and watch out for 'the wall'.

yep, I'll be there. Should be a pretty nice tour of the area. Luke, was it you who brought the old 95 wagon a few years back? The only car I have only gone on saabtoberfest with was my 88 SPG, been there for... oh about 5 years now I think.
I'd recommend this run for anyone within 6 hours drive of Wilkes-barre, it's well worth the drive.

Funny thing.....just earlier this week I was thinking back on this. I too was wondering if that was Luke; if it was not Luke he looked very simular.
I recall watching that 9-5 in my rear-view as it got the front wheels in the air while going over some train tracks in the 1 town  .
