Always a fun rally-x that utilizes an old banked dirt track for part of the course. I will probably go and can provide sets of loaner wheels with used rally tires to any other classic saab entered.

My friend Brent is planning on going. White 2000 2.5RS. I am hesitant to loan him my snowtires for the event because they are in nice shape and needed this winter. Any opinions on this from people who have been?

I've run probably 40 to 50 rallyXes in New England and I wouldn't loan my daily driver snow tires to someone to use on most of the courses. Old worn rally tires, no problem. I've rolled rally tires off the rim before and taken some good rock hits. Of course that can happen when you run 21 psi

40 to 50 rally x's eh? Somehow I think you are wrong. Thats 4 - 5 events for the last 10 years and I know that you haven't run any lately. I am pretty sure you haven't done any prior to 1999 or so as I don't think they started doing them around here until around 2000.

I ran them for about 4 years straight and I went to almost every one of them and there was one almost every month. I was running about 10 a year. Plus there were a few that I did before it became a full series, and 3/4 of one that I did when we broke your chains  So probably somewhere around 40.

Did you make this event Luke? I stopped by at the begining of the 4th heat and wasn't sure if you had come/gone or just never made it?
It looked like a really fun event.
