Well as this event draws closer, attention has once again turned to making sure the rally car is in tip top shape. This weekend I went over it and fixed a few nagging issues. The skid plate was rebent and reattached, the shocks were adjusted and the AIT sensor was finally plumbed into the intake. The turbo is definatly on the way out. I am hoping that it will make it through the event. It smokes badly sometimes under vaccum and at idle, at this point it is very intermittant. A new turbo (probably a gt28rs) will be installed this winter. Otherwise the car is in excellant shape and should be ready to roll.
