So the verdict is in........... AMEC is racing this Sunday at Lake Algonquin in Wells NY.

Anyone else heading up to the hills for some of Grampa Carlsson's old fashion leftfoot moonshine?

Finally got my fire extinguisher in the mail, but my 9000 is having some issues. After anticipating going up for the past couple weeks I'll probably be fixin her up this weekend instead. I have to move also.... Have fun.

how do you think that the A032R's would do on the R5? total control?

This is a little of Sunday's racing in Wells, NY. The first one is the regular Menard group, the second is Street Legal. I'm not in either but I guess they're still cool.

The lake was tough to plow and ice was thin in spots so we were confined to an unusually small course, only .7 miles around but still alot of fun. The shot was taken from the back strech, first lap is parade lap then the green flag drops and the race is on. There's a 912 and 2 9K's in the Menard group. In SL I think there were 2 9K's, 2 NG 900's and an old skool 914. My class was 10 cars, all Street Legal but on Menard tires and 4 of em were SAAB turbos. Its the best of both worlds, fast enough to be fun and still as easy to do as Auto-X.

Its amazing how the Aero really pulls away on the straight. Just after the video ended, Noah (camera car) tried to take a typical racing line through the next corner and was able to get ahead of me only to find it was really slippery and he went into the outer snowbank as I passed him and did a Nelson laugh, haa haa!
