"Rally Car rollover survivor dies in end table accident"
HAhaha, my head feels fine but ive got some carnage under my long flowing hair that is pretty messy. Thanks to everyone who tended to my wounds.
Also, a BIG thanks to Carolyn who came through huge keeping us well fed with great food which was very much appreciated! Also her laughter provided some ease through the tougher times of the weekend.
over all the weekend was a lot of fun and I personally cannot wait until our next event. I have secured my parents 30 foot camper for Rally New York, so we will be big pimping come October!
John and I just went hunting for photo's and we came up unsuccessful, it seems like people were a big lazy posting their photos, including rally america and stpr.org which sucks. I think there will be some great shots of us through a couple of the spectator stages where we were rotating the car very nicely.
My mom got some good shots at park expose and also some at the one spectator location where we were about to overtake a car so they look pretty cool, ill try and get them on here asap.
Also, while I got to look up at the spectator locations, the fans were going CRAZY as we went sliding through, so I think we left a very positive feeling amongst the crowd. Certainly the fans that witnessed our barrel roll are firm believers at this point!
Back to work!

We're glad you guys are ok. Of all the places to roll, a tight corner is where you want to do it...not some of those 500yd straights.

It sure does look a lot like the old car (but still very rad!). Am I right in assuming that some people thought it was?

The a-pillar is tweaked a bit into the cage, but i think could be pulled back out by someone that new what they were doing... on the other hand I could probably graft a new roof on myself... so hard to say what is the better way of doing it. I'm going to take some photos to some local shops and get an idea of what it will cost. I feel confident I can repair the fenders myself (both and very bent, but drivers side is worse and needs the inner liner replaced as well.
The thing with getting the roof fixed instead of replacing it yourself is that you probably have a better chance of the windshield fitting right. (silicone goop gaskets look kind of ugly and glass popping out because the gasket doesn't fit snug is no fun ) Snakes and I will still still have our spare roofs in case you do a turtle imitation later :-P

I think that the hood from the old car is what makes it look so similar, once I make the new hood with the proper turbo graphics it should look a bit different.
It technically was the old car "reshelled" for this event for registration, insurance and logbook purposes.

Looking at those shots it seems like your slogan should be "All sideways, all of the time".
