The increased spacing between the cylinders must be the reason there isn't a step in the block where the crank bolts pass through like on the Triumph engines (causing the cracking talked about a few posts back).
The kind of dirty that doesn't wash off :eyebrows:

IT HAS AN ELECTRIC WATER PUMP FITTED,AND ALSO THE 'LADDER' TYPE ENGINE BRACE....

No wonder it's not as strong as the SAAB engine, they've got it in backwards! At least they know how to open the hood.
