Nice, those are cool. You can do some "transporter" reinactments. I really like their mid 90's stuff. Never had a 7 though, just a few 5's.... almost got another one when i was in Miami in Jan. but had a lapse of reason and drove home in a Disco II instead.
99 problems but a SAAB ain't 1

How is the reliability on those? Granted yeah it's a V12 7 series, so it can't exactly be a Honda Accord. I always got the feeling for some reason that the 7 series was less than stellar when it came to repair time. Must be sweet for cruising around in though. I always loved BMW interiors.

Awesommmmmme!
Those in particular have some incredibly poor track records for how complex everything is, how long it takes to do jobs, and how much parts cost.
Especially the early ones, we had an '89 at the shop a while back that needed tons of work, all the injector lines leaked (soft lines to all the injector lines IIRC), water pump leaked, had some funny misfire codes, just needed gone through, but the car was amazing.
I was dumbfounded at the quality of that car considering decent driveable ones can be found for a few grand sometimes.
Power everything, power reclining rear seats, one we had here had suede roof and sunroof panels, electric folding outside windows.
Those things had near $100,000 stickers when they were new, amazing machines.
Very cool, I'm jealous. BMW F1 heritage in that car!

I always thought it was great that they offered the later 740i sport with a 6 speed manual. Totally kickass.
