The DeLorean is awesome and do not under estimate the Geo Metro/Suzuki Swift - I'll run circles around anyone all day long with mine and it's 40+ MPG on regular gas 
10.2 Gallon Tank + 40MPG Average = 400 Miles Driving on a tank @ Regular gas prices (now almost $4 gallon) (Still Under $40 to fill up)
And if I ever perform suspension and brake upgrades - I bet the car would autocross really well since you would not need to brake often. If it had serious skid plates and GOOD suspension I'd wager it as a mild offroader too for rally purpose, but I am not going that crazy with it. A skid plate would be nice however - wonder if a c900 Rally Skid Plate would fit....
