Sold my Sonetts today

Postby 99Super » Sat Jul 30, 2011 5:40 pm

It finally happenend, someone showed up w/ cash!
Bill is from Oregon and races a MC 850, so I think he was after my parts stash more than the cars.
He took all the parts and manuals today and will be back in two weeks for the cars.

Now I can afford my Wilwoods!

Yeah, mine fell into the first category. One runs and looks good, but is getting rust in the rockers, The other has a bad tranny, rockers are damaged from a lift and the engine became the donor for the big-valve heads and reground cam. I bought them both 12 years ago for $500.
Besides the heads and cam I had a full set of NOS bearings, 2 gasket sets, SS brake lines, 2 sets of NOS rotors, hydraulic rebuild kits, factory manuals, CV boot kits, 2bbl manifold, Weber DGMS carb, etc.
I only got $1200, cash, but now it frees me up to concentrate on the next 99.
