I posted the picture of the IC on a swedish forum and asked if anyone knew about it. Apparently its a watercooled IC. Not Saab original, but really well made. Sits a little too tight in a 99, he said, but it would fit fine in a 900.

I asked for more pics, and will post them here when he puts them up. =)

Excellent work. When you say not Saab original, was it a Saab accessory(non factory delivered) or a third party sold it and trademark infringed by using the Saab logo?

Was it made by Stuart Warner ? I did think it looked more like a charge cooler but have seen one !

Omni-Cool/Stewart Warner IC,

The IC has adjustable intake/outlet ports and I think I may be able to put a larger core in it when if decide to use it.

I haven't got any news on this, and i'm still waiting for pics. Someone said it should be a Setrab core in this, but no confirmation on that.

Some people are wondering about the logo too.

Hoping to get some more info soon. Will post it here as soon as i can. =)

Don't have any photos of that, unfortunatly. I would believe that the waterconnections should be towards the radiator, making it have one airconnection straight down to the turbo (the smaller one), and one directly to the intake (the larger one).

But as the guy on the swedish forum said, it is a little too big to fit properly in a 99, so i think it actually is för the 900.

Pics of another one. This one seems to have the cooler unit flipped around, since this ones waterconnetions are towards the engine instead of the rad..

I don't know if this qualifies as a "H.F.G." part, but I saw it listed on craigslist as New Old Stock and thought I ought to get it. It ABS plastic, but its much more sturdy than the unit I had before. Still, it isn't as nice as the Turbo center console.
