Hah, we both did that at SOC09, didn't we? I didn't have a bird, but I hadn't washed my faded black car in at least 4-5 months at the time, and had just driven it to Denver from LA.

If you have more Sport & Rally and Momo wheels than you do Saabs.

Finding a set of square hole steel wheels at a Pick n Pull really gets your blood pumping.

You have saabs and parts stashed at various friends, relatives, and the in-laws homes

That you will never relinquish your Saab parts stash.

That you worry more about what will happen to your Saab/parts collection after you die more than death itself.

Your car did look a little gross in Colorado
At SOC 2000 Seth entered his '87(?) 900 base model which I think may have been Rosequarts at one point. The clearcoat was peeling, it was dirty, and on the way to SOC he had hit a bird and it was stuck in the grille. He was given a new award, "Most Offensive"
