Deb and I drove the shit out of that thing. Long road trips, backcountry rig. It did everything, just not quickly since it's an auto. Headers helped. Sway Bar. Big Tires. Wiper rear window (no wiper yet), hitch and louvers. Eventually the steering rack went and the timing needed rebuilt so it's sitting until I can drop a 16V 5-speed into it. Currently it houses all my spare windshields.
I'll get the Pumpkin doing something after I get the 99 LE Hatch behind it running. That's the 99 that's going to get the 2.1 8V. Maybe The Pumpkin will get a 16V NA. Meanwhile, I need to get it back under cover.
