FIRST PICTURE,NOTE THE 'B' SERIES GETTING BUILT ON THE BENCH....


SECOND PHOTO,JUST ANOTHER SET OF RONAL MINILITES,JUST PAINTED.....


THIRD PHOTO,THE GARAGE WHERE I BUILT THE 99T CLARION........YEP IT WAS THIS FULL OF STUFF THEN AS WELL,HERE I AM REPAIRING THE DOOR ON MY M1989 9000T16.....WHICH IS ANOTHER STORY

MORE WHEELS AND NEW OLD-STOCK FRONT BUMPER......

AND THE EARLY 900 'VERT I SPENT TWO YEARS RESTORING......THEN SOLD IT :thumbsdown: :bawl:

How did you end up owning a LHD vert in the UK ?

There's quite a few LHD over here - some were bought by US Military then sold, but most probably sailed across the channel from Europe. Useful for holidays in france etc.

THE 900 'VERT WAS AN EARLY 1987 MODEL WITH FRONT HANDBRAKE,IT WAS IMPORTED(SOMEBODY ELSE) TO THE UK FROM JAPAN (ALLEGEDLY SPECIAL ORDER IN LHD)IN 1998.SPEC WAS 16V AUTO WITH AIR-CON AND CRUISE CONTROL.......


I HAVE ALSO HAD ANOTHER RHD 1991 900 TURBO IMPORTED FROM JAPAN AND THEY ARE ALWAYS COMPLETELY RUST FREE........

MY FIRST RALLY SAAB 96V4 WAS ALSO LHD,I QUITE PREFER THE STEERING WHEEL ON THE CORRECT SIDE :thumbsup:

Yups and next to it is my yellow 95, you can just see a bit of the wing between the hoods in the second photo, that I started to fit a t16 motor in to about 4 years ago !
In that pile is a bent 5dr c900 the sonnet my 95 is buried as is my lotus 7 kit car and in the last photo the blue hood in the bottom right is a Bedford van !

There is parts from 2 99's, 5/6 v4 96's 1 9000 and 1 and a bit c900's that have been broken over the years :crazy: :crazy:

WHILST WE ARE PICTURING UK 'HOARDERS'......... :yay:

HERE IS THE OTHER BLACK 99T TWO DOOR WE HAVE,WHICH IS 75% COMPLETED FULL RESTORATION FROM A STRIPPED DOWN RE-PAINTED BARE SHELL........MAJOR WORK CARRIED OUT BY OURSELVES!!! BUT NOW SHE IS ROT FREE :thumbsup:

JUST NEEDS THE ENGINE ANCILLIARIES RE-FITTING,REALLY.............BUT LIFE KEEPS GETTING IN THE WAY!

1MM OVERBORE WITH WATER INJECTION..........

Hi Birdie
The sonnet was bought by a mate as a parts car!
It was found in a garage where it had been sat since the mid '90's never registered and snot rotten !
Rob pulled the engine for the 96 I gave him as a wedding prezzie and left the rest in his folks garden for a year till I picked it up !
Think it will be my winter weld-a-thon Toying with the idea of changing it to RHD!
But need to find an engine for it or a 1.7 crank !
