My Saab is sold

Postby matt » Wed Apr 11, 2007 9:10 pm

Can I still be your friend?

The Aero will be picked up and taken away on Friday. I have mixed feelings about it, I always thought in the back of my head that I'd fix it eventually. I just got sick of seeing it sitting there.

The guy who's buying it showed up in a old gen 9000 and had the factory scan tool so I know he at least isn't an idiot. He did mention towing with the car, which ought to be quite easy with 350+ ft. lbs of torque though I don't know how the trans, tires, clutch and axles will like it.

I'm kinda happy that I won't have to part it out even if parting it would have led to more $$. I'll be happy to have my garage spot back and the ability to access the shit on that 1/2 of the garage.

He's taking all my other Saab shit too, except for a few items I bought new and didn't install yet, like SS brake lines and a few other items. I'll sell those on Ebay or whatever.

Please don't kick me out of the club just cuz I don't own a Saab....

Heh, now im not the only one on the team who doesn't have a Saab... (waits patiently for someone to take HIS junkheap away.)

Look at it this way: money in da pocket, space in da driveway, buy another toy car later when you can afford it.

Let me point out a few things...

First of all, it's a non S. That's the ladie's version.

Second of all, it's the cabrio model. This instantly boost it's gay/female quotient by approx. 567%.

As for the Subaru, sorry Matt, you're fucked. Lesbo car all the way.

I wouldn't much worry about driving the lezzie Outback around... my DD is a knackered '01 Forester L; that's much worse. I have a girl's name(Dana), live in NH, and I drive a Forester. Ack. Not only do I *drive* the Forester, but I'm slightly enthusiastic about it, as I can often be found posting at nasioc.com, seacoastsubarus.com, rs25.com, grassrootsmotorsports.com, and others. Shit, my own brother named the car "The Dyke Tractor" before I even got it home the first time. No worries.

hah, my cousin had a new beetle - my uncle hated driving it around - it was canary yellow and the liscence plate read "THATGRL"
