as a loyal customer i can handle the delay but would like an email saying whats up...or even a note on the website giving a heads up to the problems. Luke and i hhad this discussion concerning the demise of businesses like this due to very minor things. I am tempted to stop by their location next time i am in ct to see how they are doing and offer some customer feedback/advice that may help them out.

placed an order today, nothing genuine saab, nothing that stated it was out of stock...

We'll see, hopefully I don't end up wishing I bought it from rock auto.

I ordered a bunch of things last week, I got most things Friday and the rest on the following Wednesday. The stuff that came later was specified as "ships in 1 - 2 days" and "ships 1 - 2 weeks". So no problems there.

I wonder if that happened when we were sliding sideways across the frozen washboard. These cars just can't take the abuse a real SAAB can.

Called last Friday (15 minutes on hold), "Bob" assures me the parts will ship that day. No parts yet today, called again to check in: parts haven't shipped. He either lied or they don't know what they're doing anymore: two of the three items that were to "ship today" last Friday were not in stock today. I canceled the remainder of the order. He didn't seem to mind.

I just ordered 27 items today. I guess I shouldn't hold my breath that the one part I really needed arrives for me to install this weekend.

Everything that I've ordered that said it was in stock arrived the next day... just got a package today actually! I agree more stuff is drop-shipped, but what can you do... I actually have to order an exhaust system today too. Prices have definitely gone up!

The stuff I ordered yesterday just arrived. A few items did not make it with the order. Of course it's the part I needed that prompted my order in the first place.

FedEx says my order arrived today making it less than 48 hours total, which was the norm for these guys. Of course with the Saab parts situation one of them, a T7 BPC, is special order and won't be here for another 5 days or so but overall it went pretty smooth and hopefully when the dust settles a bit with the parts they can start stocking some of these special order parts.

I ordered some head gaskets (for the T5/T7 blockoff kits) and a few other things that showed "In Stock", but the order stayed showing as "Pending" in my accounts page until Saturday the last time I checked it... never changed to show it was "Shipped."

Low & behold they arrived today, no mixed up parts. Yay.

I just checked it again, and it still shows the order as "Pending" even though I have the parts sitting here on my desk. Strange.

After I waited a week for my strut mount to arrive I asked Chris to order one. He got it the next day for less than I paid for mine and he got it from Eeuro...go figure.
