Here's my latest junkyard score. Well, this and a manual sunroof to match.
Note- this tops my previous record holder, the chairman Mao flint/carrying case.

Nice! I think I used to have that tape. I recently found an ABBA 8-track tape in the "free" section at the local "recycling" center.
One time at a junkyard I found a publication that was put out by SAAB that told you how to drive your front wheel drive 99/900 in the snow. It featured pictures of Stig Blomqvist sitting in a car. Another fun thing about it is that it's in German so I can only read small parts of it like, "die optimum sitzposition"

I have several of the US versions of these. A local Dealer (Victor Saab) used to give them out for free with new car purchases. Very frequently they stay in the glove box of the car never having been read... and end up being the only thing left of the car that's still in good condition by the time they get to the junk yard!

Nice one! I need to change my handle regardless, since I sold my SPG to Stephan.
Maybe I just need to use this more:

Wish I had a tape deck so I could bump to that. Looking forward to Summer stoplites with the West Coast rap turned up, and the confused looks that follow
As to the topic .. a 99 in a junkyard would be score enough. After calling some local ones and finding most have only 1 900, I haven't bothered going to any (Saabhalla in Jefferson obviously excepted)
