Re: blue axle
That pic was posted in the ten 99's for sale thread, here is the members thread about that white car. Sorry I don't really know many details about the car but I'm sure he could fill you in.

Re: blue axle
That's my car. I have a build thread going called 87 track car or something. I don't make as much progress as most the guys on here, but then again i don't have a shop or access to fields full of parts cars like those in the Northeast.

Re: blue axle
I'm just happy to see others keeping these cars alive. The color wasn't really planned. I wanted to clean all the rust off the 88 suspension parts and knew I would have to recoat it all with something. My local Wal-mart only offered 4 color choices for quarts of Rustoleum. White, black, red and blue. So for $8.50 in paint, I will paint all modified/custom parts that color blue. So far, to do the front and rear suspension pieces and brakes, I have used about $1.50 worth of paint sprayed out of my $9 Harbor Freight spray gun

Re: blue axle
I'm a big fan of painting the underpinnings a color other than black. My 84 notchback is getting everything done in Smoke Gray.
It gives a hint of something not stock going on under there.
