hey guys i was surfing around and cannot find it again....looking for a pic of a white 99/900 on jack stands with a blue rear axle resting on the ground behind it...wondering if maybe you guys know of the car/pic i'm looking for...thanks for the help

That's my car. I have a build thread going called 87 track car or something. I don't make as much progress as most the guys on here, but then again i don't have a shop or access to fields full of parts cars like those in the Northeast.

right! same thing here in chicago just do not come across many old saabs or saab guys period...i'm really liking the idea of doing something with the susp. color hope you don't mind if i copy your idea it's not a positive but i think it's a cool change and thinking outside

I'm just happy to see others keeping these cars alive. The color wasn't really planned. I wanted to clean all the rust off the 88 suspension parts and knew I would have to recoat it all with something. My local Wal-mart only offered 4 color choices for quarts of Rustoleum. White, black, red and blue. So for $8.50 in paint, I will paint all modified/custom parts that color blue. So far, to do the front and rear suspension pieces and brakes, I have used about $1.50 worth of paint sprayed out of my $9 Harbor Freight spray gun :thumbsup:

I'm a big fan of painting the underpinnings a color other than black. My 84 notchback is getting everything done in Smoke Gray.

It gives a hint of something not stock going on under there.
