SAAB Books?

Postby Adrian Thompson » Mon Mar 11, 2013 12:25 pm

Any suggestions for good SAAB books? Since I SAABified myself and got my 900 last fall I’ve got the Chilton’s manual, Two stroke to Turbo and SAAB 99 & 900 the complete story. I absolutely love 2stroke to turbo, any more good books, particularly focused on rally / competition?

I would get the Bentley Repair manual instead of using the Chiltons. No other repair manual is better for the 900. I need to dig through my books, but I have a cool old Rally "how to" book that featured a few Saabs. I think it was published around 1980. The name eludes me though.

You can't beat the factory service manuals, but Bentley is 2nd (they use info/photos from factory manuals)

Brain fart, I do have the good one, the Bentley, not the Chiltons.

Two of my favorites. The Spirit of Saab, and Saab-The First Forty Years of Saab Cars.

Someone was nice enough to scan large portions of the factory manuals found in this thread
