1 set of manholes
1 set inkas (soon to be refinished)
2 sets deep super aeros (one set refinished dark grey with polished lip and one set NOS)
1 set SPG rims
1 set Commemorative Edition rims
1 set of 4x114 3-piece mesh cross spokes that look like Epsilons. From the seller (a reputable Saab fanatic like myself), said to have been custom made by a single dealer in CA in 1986 only for the c900 turbo that he was selling in a lot alongside Porsche 911s and he wanted the Saab to look as sporty as the Porsche. I've never seen another set like these, but they fit as if they were made for the 900. Now on the '80.

Went out to my buddies place last night to do some paintwork on his Scarabe Green 92 Vert.

He had just picked up his wheels from getting tires mounted. He ended up with Federal SS 595 (205 50 16) on 16x7 Borbet wheels.

The tires fit the rims well, with a slightly stretched look to them. Similar to rally tires, they have a rib molded into the sidewall to help protect the rim bead area from curbing.

The car needs to be lowered a bit, but we have to wait til the engine is back in the car.

The combo is gonna look sharp on that car. Just gotta tune the stance.

Did these up a few years ago, and mounted some Pirelli Rally tires on them.

They have been thru a few RallyX events and are pretty worn down at this point.
Hopefully I can find another set of tires that are half tread or better to replace them.

Surprisingly the rims have held up to the abuse. The finish has some chips and dings, and I had to break out the dead blow hammer a few times to make them round again.

I had like 60 shelbys but I sold'em all to pay for a totally fucking badass tattoo of a 1/2 pitbull 1/2 saab doing a dragon k9 style. I'll try to get a pic up when i get my gramma's camera back from pawnshop.

There were other opportunities at Carlisle this past weekend. The guy I got the Borbet wheels from also had a set of Shelby goldvanes for sale. I should have worked a deal on those too, as in the end they went for 100.00 before the show was over.

I did however pick up a killer deal on a set of 205/50/15 Hoosier HWET tires.

They are a few years old, but still about 60% tread. The shoulder is a little rounded, but I can just mount them inboard and it should be fine. For the deal I got on them, I could just put them on a DD...

Now to figure out what wheels to mount them on.

The guy who bought them was another vendor who stuck them out for sale in his vendor area. I decided I'd mess with him and asked how much he was asking for them. He hemmed and hawed, asked if I knew what they were, and said $200. I told him I'd have to think about it and walked away.
