Well I guess I can add 6 soccerballs and 4 Shelby's to my stash as well... got them for the rally car. I just couldn't deal with not having *some* saab items on my car, so With the help of JVAB converted the xr4ti's hubs to the early pattern, machine some adapters, and fitted early vented discs with wilwoods to it :D The 10 wheels + conversion machining were less than the costs to pick up a couple sets of good wheels for the ford.

And I added my first set of Soccerballs. I agreed to let a friend store his '74 Sonett in my yard for a couple months while he parted it out in exchange for the Soccerball wheels on it.
Plans to install them on the '67 96

Added a new set to the collection recently.

Polished the lip, and sprayed them with gloss white, then sprinkled "Diamond Dust" in the wet paint. Basically just ground glass. I followed with a few heavy coats of clear.

Mounted 185/60/15 Firestone Winterforce tires with studs.

Perfect for winter RallyX, and some occasional snow Hoonage.

Can't believe I've never seen this thread. I'm a bit of a wheel whore myself, but not just Saab.
So lemme see if I can get this right.

2.5 sets or so of soccer balls
2 sets of manholes all bent to hell
1 set clean manholes
1 set black Shelby's, really grimy but straight
1 set gold Shelby's, really really grimy but cheap and straight
1 set Ronal minilites
1ish set of sunburst's kinda bent
most don't have tires on them

Then 3 sets of WRX wheels and 3 sets for my 335i, all with tires

Then RX7 wheels for the racecar:
1 set of snazzy black chrome Panasports
1 set of orange Minilites
2 sets of silver Panasports
1 set Diamond steelies
2 sets of stockers
1 set of American Racing

I think that's "it". This thread needs more pics but I too don't have any either.

I started moving stuff around my garage today to make room for a spare c900t motor/trans. After moving a bunch of wheels and tires I decided to get a pad out to count the Saab collection.
52 wheels and 57 tires.
I find my own antics a tad ridiculous at this point

Looking back through the thread you can take comfort that pretty much each one of us still have more wheels than you. ;)

Some people on here probably change their wheels more often than they change their socks.

ELSEWHERE YOU CAN SEE,WE NOW HAVE A 'FORD PINTO' BASED 'CATERHAM' TYPE KIT CAR PROJECT..... :yay: 108 PCD

BUT, IT NEEDS SOME ALLOY WHEELS....?

I HAD BOUGHT A SET OF 7.5J COMPOMOTIVE FORD FITMENT,JUST TO TRY.... ON THE 1991 900,SOME WEEKS BEFORE?....
THESE WOULD JUST ABOUT GO ON THE 900,WITH SOME SHAVING OF THE FRONT CALIPERS.....

BUT THEY WILL BE PERFECT FOR HOONING AROUND THE TRACK....ON THE KIT CAR....

SUNDAY MORNING,OVER A COFFEE............I SUDDENLY REMEMBERED I ALSO HAD A SET OF SOME 15 INCH 'FORD FITMENT' 6.5J SPEEDLINES,AS WELL.............

SO THAT'S GOOD..!!!

ONE SET FOR SLICKS,ONE SET FOR WETS.... :yay:

KITCAR WILL LOOK LIKE THIS,WHEN IT'S DONE......BUT IN BRITISH RACING GREEN&STAINLESS.....

Is Compomotive still in business? Heard they had gone bankrupt or something
