CLARION 900 TURBO

OK CHAPS, I DID ASK THIS QUESTION IN SWEDEN,DURING THE 'FESTIVAL'......BUT THE ANSWER WAS INCONCLUSIVE?

DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY REFERENCE/PHOTOS OF THE BBURAGO MODEL SAAB CLARION 900 TURBO LIVERY,ACTUALLY TAKING PART IN AN EVENT?

I HAVE BOTH MODELS HERE IN 1/43 AND THE LARGER ONE.....

THE DOOR SQUARES ON THE SIDE OF THE CAR FEATURE THE NO.5,ON THE 'COSTA SMERALADA' RALLY......

I KNOW THE CLARION 99 TURBO TOOK PART IN THIS EVENT AT SOME POINT,BUT I AM CURIOUS AS TO HOW THE BBURAGO 900 LIVERIED MODEL CAME TO BE?

Honestly, I think the only photos I've seen of Clarion liveried cars being driven in anger are of your car.

I THINK IT WOULD BE PRETTY COOL TO HAVE A FULL SIZE, BLACK 900 TURBO IN THE 'BBURAGO' LIVERY.....? :dunno:

I agree. I had one of those as a toy when I was little, played with it so much we rubbed pretty much every spec of paint off it.

There is another version of the Burago 900. This one is 1/27 scale.

Anybody ever see this and think the burango person must have been color blind?

The livery for the 1982 swedish rally was this:

And it was also a 99, and eklund finished 4th but had a start number of 6...

JUST CHECKED THE ENTRY LIST FOR 'PER EKLUND' IN THE 1983 SWEDISH RALLY :huh:
