Friday is my plan. I'm going skiing this Saturday. Meet at Joes, Friday, as early as possible.

Ha no problem, sounds like Friday it is, just figured I'd make sure before we all set out. I have the exhaust and arches for you guys ready to go just need to throw them in the car friday AM.

It should be nice conditions to go skiing on saturday. I thought I heard there was a wave of snow in the forecast this weekend. Luckily I think friday we'll be ok and it will be cold but at least sorta sunny.

I wont be making it down this weekend...due to work issues and weather. Jason, maybe you could hand off my head, intake, and block to Sam as he is a lot closer to me than PA. Provided Sam is ok with this?

This place as close to 9 as you can make it. If you can be there by 9 lets try to meet in the parking lot in front of the gate, if you think you'll be late maybe just wander around and see if you spot a group of people attacking some Saabs.

@Crazyswede Fine by me. Let me know how you want to pick up or meet.

Im going to shoot to get to joes around 10 given what will likely be a 3 hour drive during rush hour. I hope it is not worse than that. Since my two choices are the verrazano or the george washington bridge that is a possibility.

Sam,

I will try to bring it with me, but I will probably ride with someone else to the yard. If there is enough room for it in his car, I will bring it.

I realize now i may not be able to drop the engine off anywhere as I have quite a bit of errands to run picking up family from the airport over the weekend. It could go in my queens garage briefly if i can lift it out. Is the engine and head in pieces or assembled?

Don't worry about it at this point. it is an 8v head, a short block, and an intake, all separated.

How far are you from Fort Edward NY?

If the block or the stuff is too much don't worry about it I will figure out another way to grab it when I am down in PA.

Worst case scenario is I just have to lump it over to my new shop, and try to arrange something in the near future.

It was a little cold in the morning, but as long as I was in the sun it was not too bad. A bit breezy at times, and somewhat uncomfortable in the shade. It warmed up as the day progressed.

It looked like everyone was finding some bits for their projects. There were a good number of new gen 900s, And 9-3s. Several 9-5s, and a couple of 9000s. We went to 2 different yards, but only 2 C900s.

I managed to pick up a harness, ecm, and most of the T5 components I need for the 89t sedan project. I can be happy with that.

Yeah sort of a bummer there was only the 2 900's but oh well, still a fun day once the weather warmed up a bit. Maybe we can try again in the spring when the weather is a little better and there may be more saabs.

After staring at what seemed like a dozen of them I completely forgot that I had meant to grab a spare AIC valve but oh well, there's always next time.
