Anyone local to PA, there is a 91 and a 93 C-900, both turbo at the Joes E-Z pull in Newringgold PA. I already got the motor & trans from one, but there is still a 91 900-t with a MT there, which someone should get. I know nothing about these, but... out the door, a motor & trans cost me $124... so even as a "core" it's a good price. Think of it as the cost of one good used inner driver, except you got 2, and a whole motor, transmission, water pump, alternator, power steering pump, etc...
There is also a 93 9000, TCS, and a 96 9000 MT CS Turbo. and an 87 900-S 16V. all in various states of being picked over, by me

Nice, I had been meaning to do a junkyard run to get some T5 bits and piping to run the FMIC in my 900, sounds like now may be a good time to go there before they all get picked apart further!
Any chance you saw any SID 2's in a 9-3/5? I've been on a low priority hunt for one for a few months and when we met up in the winter it seemed they were hard to come by.

2 more classic 900's showed up, just a few days ago at the same yard. an 89 base base model, with a 16V / MT - seems like the trans is busted, 220K miles, and a red 93 900-S MT last on the road in 2006 (inspected then anyway) with leather (driver side is shot) Seems like that might have a good trans.
Also, a couple 9-3 convertibles T5, 99's and a whole bunch of early 9-5's.
I am tempted to do a "tranny run" - there are 2 potentially good 91-93 5 speeds at this yard now, out the door price on those is probably $75.

Any good maroon door panels on those 99s? Or Cardinal Red hood?

the 99's that were at this yard are gone now And, I don't think they really had any body parts that were not rusty. I might have some extra door panels, but I think the 2 that I had that were actually in "fair-good" shape are on my 78 99-t now.

I am conducting some experimental surgery. Drilling holes from the back of the panel into the "blisters" and filling them with glue. The first attempt went pretty well. I'll post some pictures.

I might have some burgundy '78 interior panels at my parent's place in MA. I won't be there for at least a few weeks but my dad is supposed to try to take inventory.

Gary and I went by yesterday, and pulled a couple of good trannys out of a 93 convertible and a 91 900-S. Popped the side covers off after pulling and they both look real good inside. Adding to our Saab hoard! I think we had the trannys out in about 2 actual working hours, most of the time spent was waiting for the lift because he had to spend about 45 minuted putting out a car fire
