Wierd Steering Wheel for C900

Postby TurboBudapest » Thu Jul 31, 2014 1:32 am

Has ayone ever seen one of these steering wheels which are allegedly for C900s? I believe it is from the late 80s. Looks to be based off of the late 80s momo steering wheel that Saab sold with the two colored stripes. It says Collection Patrick Tambay on it (I understand he was a French F1/CanAm driver).

My Saab Indy has it for sale - to my mind, it looks pretty fugly. I have a chance to buy a classic leather momo steering wheel with the two colored stripes - probably will buy that instead.

Thoughts? Radioflyer, ever seen one of these?

Kind of ugly, yes.
It looks like one of these:

(Which I think is much better looking)

All someone would have to do is buy a SAAB-Momo steering wheel adapter (same as the one on the accessory wheel above) and bolt it to a Momo wheel. Instant "SAAB Accessory". I suppose it could have been sold by a SAAB dealer but I don't remember seeing that wheel in any catalogs.
The kind of dirty that doesn't wash off :eyebrows:

This wheel...

...just a bit more grippy at 10-2 and 8-4 and with a different center bit. I forget that the date stamp was on the back of my wheel, I wanna say 84 maybe?
