My set did that a bit as well, not sure where the issue was but it wasn't quite JDM/hellaflush enough to annoy me to fix it.

And maybe its just out of the picture or you did something custom but wheres the muffler for the skandix system?

I'll bet the exhaust sounds great!

Oh, I think I had the muffler hung up under the car to look at fit before I remembered to snap a few pictures.

It's quieter than I thought it would be, but after having the car loud for so long I really like it. The TD-04 with the big intercooler makes for a really great turbo whistle too, never really heard the spoolup with the headers in this car before because the exhaust always drowned everything else out!

I have had my single tip Sandix muffler on for a number of years. It sounds pretty sweet when opened up. And yes the tip has never really sat right. Clears the axle and misses the body which to me is most important.

Did a time lapse vid of welding the bungs on the diff cover. Sixs welds per bung to hit the flats of the hex. Jumped back and forth across the bung to reduce the warping of the bung to the plate.

Isn't that what you lubricate the cutters with? When you run out of Kroil that is.

Sun! With the doors open I got good fresh air flow and shade from the top.

Anyway, that car moved on to CT today. It's giving more of its parts to a nice brown '77 5-door.

Not sure if I will fill the other opening or mock up another vent. I have all the parts but the trim ring is missing a 2" section.

I sure wish they made them smooth, EMS-style, like the originals!

Pulled the windshield from the 76 hatch in prep for hauling it to the scrapper.
Next, I'll cut off the front fenders. I hope to have it hauled off Saturday.

Just been driving them around... The 88 SPG just keeps ticking along, and aside from tech issues and it eating Denso coil packs now and then, the 10 9-5 just keeps rolling along too. Will break 100,000 in a few weeks. the 10 aero with the VT tuner "stage 0" is only a tig slower than a newfangled Cammaro SS, almost comes down to whom ever puts their foot to the floor first. Should be fun with the 18" snow tires this winter, wonder if I should get a plow for it?

Cut the fenders off the 76 Hatch. Just a few more bits and off to scrap.

I'm not exactly sure if this applies to "What did you do to your Saab today" But it's Saab related... About 2 weeks ago some guy in a motorhome who wasn't watching his tail-swing clipped the 2010 9-5, he tagged the rear bumper and busted the tail light and the light bar. He had insurance and it's 100% covered.

Unfortunately, the LH tail light and the light bar are on galactic back order from Saab and used parts are unavailable anywhere. So, they are going to total the car. For broken tail lights. Yes, that's right... So I am still waiting to see what their offer is minus the buy-back.

Most recently I was able to find this- http://www.copart.com/us/Lot/35819135?s ... 1081223822 - It has everything I'd need to fix the car!!!

However it seems to be dealer only... Anyone know anyone with a dealer license that can bid on it for me? It's not even that far away from me, and pick-up should not be a problem. Obviously someone willing to put a bid in for say $1500 or so I would make it worth their while.

DeLorean, how about Claude Hutchings, Dimitry Valtanis, or Don Fatzinger, maybe one of them could help with the Coparts auction.
