A new year and so many things to do. Do any of you make new years resolutions?
If so lets here them!
I want to continue on the various project cars and vow not to bring anymore home until everything in the current collection is in better running condition.
Right now I have Red the 86 notch hill climb car, a big interest in SAAB MAAB's Lemons car, a nice little 85 red notch from Hutch, a 91 S 3dr. that I am turning into a turbo 5 speed car, a 1967 95 2 stroke wagon that runs but needs way more work, a dead Subaru , plus 2 9-5's and a Silverado PU. everything needs something done . Oh and I have a 89 dark blue 900 3door that I need to make run or part out and a 99 9-5 sdn for parts.
I work in my shop almost every day, so I don't really need more cars.
Only if I get rid of one or two, then maybe something else.
Only thing that might change this is a winning Lottery ticket ! I have run out of rich older relatives, so inheritance is out of the question.
So what are you going to accomplish this year 2016 ?

Wow that's an impressive project inventory!
My hope is to re-start my C900 project and get it running this spring/summer.
To get to that point, though, I have a 9-5 occupying 2 of 3 bays of my garage right now doing my first engine rebuild. Hoping I can have that one back on the road by February.

9-3: redo the busted bumper, maybe redo the drivers seat leather before it cracks
SPG: really just drive it, tinker with the exhaust and get a cat welded in
900 vert: redye the interior and fix the abs light, maybe register it as an antique
I'd also like to make it out to cheer on the saabrally members at more events this year

Gary, that is a huge project list. I like the " I will not bring anything home until I finish these".
2016:
Finish the twin scroll turbo project.
Go to some car shows to reenergize the project as a whole.
Clean and organize the garage/shop
New ecu and wire bundle, as my current I have out grown and some of the MOSFETS (pwm drivers) are giving up the ghost.
Good luck everyone. Have a great year.

I am going to quit smoking, which I've been saying for months.
Also downsize some and get moved out of my shop and into the garage at the house to save money on rent, which I have also been saying for months.
That should keep me pretty busy.
