I called eEuro for a T5 flywheel and apparently it is not available without the entire kit with crank sensor and other parts.
I don't need the entire kit.
Anyone know where I can just get a T5 flywheel?

The other parts (bracket, sensor and plug adapter) are required for it to work properly. Without using these parts, I've found them less reliable.

Jordan, how would you rate the upgraded (Volvo) CPS compared to the original Saab CPS, as far as rate of failure?

Jordan,
I was curious too, what makes the eEuro setup more "reliable".

Re: eEuro T5 flywheels
It's not really a failure issue, its the over-sensitivity of the sensor with setup. With these VR sensor setups, the sensor is sort of "matched" to the trigger wheel. The sensor works with magnetic flux, so if the trigger which is generating the flux is out of range of the sensor, it won't read properly. I found that the SAAB sensor works just fine with the thin stamped steel factory wheel, but when using the flywheel, the change in density of material caused airgap to have to be set differently as well as the acceptable working range to be narrower. If setup too close (like say the factory range) it is possible to generate too much voltage and either burn the sensor out or just saturate the signal so that it does not work properly at high RPM.
The eEuro (Volvo) sensor used is designed to work with machined flywheels. .

Jordan, what gap does the Volvo CPS use? Is it the same as the Saab CPS?

Sorry to kick an old topic, but I've been wondering something.
I have a machined (stock) flywheel as seen in the picture above with a volvo sensor.
The newer flywheel kits use a pattern on the side instead of the top, does this make a lot of difference to how the engine runs/feels?

I doubt it, if it works it works.
