This weekend's junkyard run

Postby 99Super » Sun Aug 05, 2018 6:36 pm

Friday, I had the day off and was cruising through some local yards looking for E-350 bumpers.

Ended up finding an untouched '94 'vert - auto. Of course you can't buy the whole car...

ODO read 76K, car looked it.

I ended up with the short block (don't need the head), the TE05, intercooler pipes, both oil coolers, the radiator, APC and dist.
Plus the alt, starter, PS pump, other small bits. I also grabbed the rear glass, it was packed up in the back seat.

As I was working on it today a couple of other guys I knew showed up and got the whole dash.
I may go back for hubs/CVs.

My back is killing me!

Nice! I haven't had to hit my local yard this year yet, my stockpile is probably a little too large for my needs now. I've only got my one 900 left, and it hasn't really had anything break or need much maintenance the past few years. Probably coincides with me not rally or autocrossing it much in the last 2 years...
