I came across some brilliant old photos while goggling about...
Teambild.se
upper right corner,search for "saab"
http://www.teambild.se/arkiv/index.php
The master of rally photography : Reinhard Klein
search for Saab under "car type"
http://www.mcklein-imagedatabase.com/imagedatabase/index.php?index=12&idb_cmd=search&idb_sc=189
These are a great database of historical rally activity...they want you to buy the pictures, which would cost a bit though...

Yeah,it blew my mind when I came across the Teambild archive!
Another fun place for looking is on http://www.tradera.com,there's always 500 Saab items and Sport & Rally stuff comes up frequently, mostly V4 stuff which is fiercely bid upon...the snag is most folks want bank transfers ala Postgrio or something, but there's a few who take Paypal---I bought a buncha mags from this guy & he mailed 'em to me before I paid him,it was different...I got 7 mags for 140SEK + post of 160SEK,not too bad.

I haven't translated the auction but it looks like pieces that go along the A-pillar, maybe up the edge of the door. I think they keep dirt etc. from coming off the windshield and covering the windows. They'd be helpful with all the New England salt in the winter. I usually find that they'll get so dirty it's hard to see the door mirrors.
The kind of dirty that doesn't wash off
