I've been thinking about this since I got the car home. I am not a Saab person. Therefore I am putting this thing up for sale.
The good:
Low milage 58k
new lowering suspension with Bilstein shocks
Full set of Saab performance sway bars (only rear adjustable installed)
Two sets of Inca wheels
Extended wheel studs
Near mint front seats
Shiny paint
New fuel distributor
12# wastegate spring
Running and drivable
Very little rust and none in bad areas
Title in hand
The not so good:
Exhaust is incomplete (I have a new intermediate pipe and muffler but no tailpipe) not installed
The tires under the car are rotted beyond safe use
Rear side panels have sun damage
I'm asking $3000 firm which is $1k less than I'm into the car
I am advertising here first because this car deserves an enthusiast owner
I can be reached at 704-858-3809
The car is in Charlotte NC

If the price comes down a bit, I'll consider it... I don't have a red one yet.

This has to be a joke because the first thing I said is I'm not a Saab guy, so no Saabs.
I forgot to mention I have a spare chill cast 4-speed that goes with it.
I will trade for cash or cash.

lucky for you the 98 Saab 900SE is more GM than Saab. So I think this is a win win situation. I see no flaws in my logic

Re: 1978 saab 99 turbo
I think you could easily get your $3k that you are asking, just give it some time.

DeLorean wrote:$2000 cash? I'll be down this weekend if you say yes.
For $2000 I'll sell the car with the tires under it and the extra wheels bare. I'll sell the extra trans separately.
Give me a call and we will talk on this further.

So what happened that put you in a crunch for cash all of a sudden? You have been working on this car for months and just got it all setup with new suspension...and now its out the door?

No crunch for cash I just don't want it.
I bought it because it was a decent deal but every time I look at it I feel like I shouldn't have bought it. I have gotten to the point just going out to the garage is a chore.
Basically I don't have any Saab passion.
