It was the Gr.A homologation-car, run at 24H-Race on Nürburgring with the drivers Strycek, Lammers, Jansen.
In rain it was the fastes Car on the trac.
After that it runs only 3 circuit races and on two rallyes for presentation.
It get a damaged at the last rally on the rear left side. The carosserie was rebuilded, bud the car is not ready fixed. Now it is standing since 2001.
Facts: Engine 2 l, turbo, 280Hp with airrestictor 32mm, 470Nm, Cosworth-pistons, Weber Marelli programable motormanagement, sinterclutch, limited slip, complete Vauxhall Astra Gr.A frontaxle, Bilstein suspension, AP braces, Recaro seats, Stack system, ATL-racetank 80l ,Wichers rollcell, etc.
