As I have to rebuild my 2.1 and was planning on adapting it to t5.. I am in. Get me a price and I will send you the monies.

My saab is not going anywhere... literally :rolleyes:

Aww man! Now I need to find a 16V timing chain cover. It might take a while...

I might have access to a few, but exchange would be much better.

This keeps getting pushed back, but I think David said he'd have time to work on them this week. We were painting the 99 all weekend so didn't get much machine shop time in, but they will be ready shortly.

There is definitely a market for this conversion. If manifolds and timing covers were available i the the swaps would be a lot more prevalent.

I have done quite a few over the years for people, Cost was about $350 for a modified timing cover and intake manifold if customer supplied usable cores.

Yeah, I never got to it. Right now my yellow car has a stock '87 N/A B202 in it, and my brother's white car is going to get a B202 turbo engine, and they'll probably stay that way for a while, since neither of us has actually even really driven the cars yet.

Plus, you guys all keep demonstrating how to blow up gearboxes anyway...

I wouldn't be against building a few if there was interest, but there are several of us on here with the capability - it seems like no one has the time though!
