Two 99s and a 96 @ Harry's U-pull It: Hazelton, PA

Got this off the 99 email list. I haven't been there, haven't seen them.
At Harry's U-Pull-It in Hazleton, PA (intersection of I-80& I-81), there is one very rusty 96. Not too picked over, relatively new addition. Bad, bad rust, though. It fell when one of the supports went through the frame behind the pass. door.
Also, two pretty rusty 99s. One 72-ish (rubber bumpers, vinyl roof!), the other 77 or later. Sedans. These will be in the crusher very soon. Good parts for your stash, but the probably will be flat in 2-3 weeks.
I didn't pore over them, but the two 99s probably had mostly complete interiors. The cloth was bad, of course, but all the fiddly plastic bits from the dash seemed to be there. Bodies were bad. Really bad.

Saw em today, there is not much there... The early 70's is a triumph motor D-Jetronic car, the 78 is a 2.0 K-Jet. Really rough cars, none had been on the road in the past 20 years Rust rust rust.
There was also a green 91 SPG there, crashed pretty badly, but it did have a rebuilt trans. If it's not cracked (which it may be) it might be a real nice unit for someone.

Found another 2 99's on the Washington DC craigslist, its a shame because I sorta have a place to stash a car for a month or two in DC but really have no use for them given no $ to restore/repair either one of them but it would still be fun to know some info about the '76. I'd bet there are some very cool and rare parts that go with them.
In our back lot there are two neat old Saabs that don't run. Both are complete. One is a 78 99 Turbo with lots of speed parts. It has not run in 10 years or more. Second is a 1976 Saab 99 that Ran SCCA ITB class many years ago. It does not run but it's all there including full cage, welded diff etc. You need to come and see these. So what are the details with the cars? What kind of "go fast bits" are on that 99T? Anything special about the ITB car other than a cage and some nice body work?

The only thing really interesting about the 99-t was that it had a chargecooler, otherwise it's likely just a 99-turbo with a burnt exhaust valve that's been sitting for the past 10-20 years. The "race" 99 looks as though it was probably originally a D-jet car, but it now has K-jet. Also has a really shady bolt in cage. Nothing too interesting there...
The only reason I'd buy em is cause the 99-t might have a good 4 speed (and various other 99 bits/bobs, and it has an neat vintage chargecooler that would go nicely in my good 99-turbo. They are both too rusty and shot to actually fix or drive -IMO.

I remember the 76 idling out in front of Scandinavian back in the 80s. Looked a little better back then...

I dont know, they dont look THAT bad, from the pics, as long as the rockers are solid and most 99's are, the 76 would prob be a good canidate for a rally/hill climb/ice race shell.

Oh yeah... that notch looks like its worth messing with. i've driven uglier cars to work everyday.
Has a header... might have some MSS goodies in the head?

Unless the underside is rotted from sitting I say find a black 900 in a junkyard and swap the hatch over and it looks like you could have yourself a nice driver assuming it can be brought back to life for not too much time or money.
