Why not just plug the wires into an alternate ignition switch? Do you have a spare shifter assembly you could pull one out of? Then you could use a regular screwdriver.

Need to get back over to clean out the van of parts. there were a lot of interior bits in there...might have been some better carpets.

Oh yeah, 99's cut up nice. We used to cut them into 1/6th's, and they fit right into a 8X4 pickup bed. Works if you have a picky scrap yard that wants titles, It's not really worth the bother for us though, you can bring em whole to less picky scrap yards and just get the tin weight for the whole car, un cut. I would bet those might be harder to find in the Peoples Republic of New York...

It's amazing how light they are after you strip them all out. My brother and I grabbed either end of a 3dr shell and moved it, laughing all the while because we were carrying a car.

You could make a trailer out of one.

Hey Jon, we're those all 99's that you picked up? Looking for a set of early c900 headlight surrounds.

Anyone planning on heading up there this weekend? I'd like to see some of these cars before they are gone.

Damn, I could use those defrost vents and a right side inner rocker.

The pics of chopped up 99s are giving me anxiety :-(

Edward, I saved some of those defrost vents. I did not cut out the inner rocker/sill on the white 71, sorry. I will check the black car to see if it is salvageable before that one goes away.
Sam arrived around noon on Sunday.
The stainless steel sill plates from the white 71 were removed and Sam took them, along with a pair of brown low back seats, the headliner from the 71, a couple of rear view mirrors, some floor mats.

I took another 900 to the salvage yard on Saturday:
