I looked at that car back in april of last year... can't believe the guy actually sold it. He had it advertised for something ridiculous like $5000 I think. Sounds like it could be brought back, but definitely needs some body work. And when he says it sat for a few years, he means like 12 or 13 years. It will need a whole fuel system and all new brakes at least... and who knows what else from there.

Looks like the middle built chillcast box....gear primary vs chain but you should be able to upgrade the pinion housing. If the guy can give you the cast number off the bottom of the box you will know for sure.
