Where is one of these close by when you want a project?

Pretty car, looks like it would be a great commuter after a trans transplant.
I wish my car had winter mood technology.

This guy seems to want to get rid of this car quickly, dropped the (albeit ridiculous) price from $6000 to $1000obo:

1980's Poo Brown isn't exactly my first choice but you gotta love the 5 doors and this one looks like a clean enough example.

That thing has the same 50lb boat anchor of an AC compressor that was on my 73. With the redneck engine mount made out of bar stock. That was an expensive option as it got my ems over $2000 msrp. It has the knee banger dash console inside for the ac vents. Probably means its a texas or southwest car especially since it looks like a base model. If only it were not poo brown!

Wonder whether it is steam coming out of the vents or something else. $1000 seems like a good deal if not rusty.

I like the color on that car. Thinking of going to purchase. Thoughts?

Do it. I'd only say a handful of cars can pull brown off and this is definitely one of them. Pictures can of course be deceiving but it looks pretty clean and probably just needs some TLC to be a nice cruiser. In another ad he said the steam was coming from the hood so it may be an easier fix but you gotta assume this is a 30+ year old car that's been sitting around.
