That was my guess.
It's really cool because we didn't get them here, but I bet it's an absolute slug with the single barrel Stromberg.

Minilites in PA http://york.craigslist.org/pts/4230509667.html
Parts car with an uncracked dash also in PA - if anyone buys this, I know someone willing to pay more than the cost of that car for an uncracked thick dash. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/4250871463.html

Those are actually Shelby's, you can barely make out in the close up pic that there are three areas with text, the Ronal's only have two.
And all four center caps! And Soccerball / Inca / Shelby lugnuts!

I thought about emailing just to see if he may sell the center caps separately, I'm somewhat local if anyone is interested and the dude doesn't want to ship or something.

Yeah and I can't think of any other car from the 80s that would have it... maybe a Yugo?

Re: Craigslist / Fleabay / Blocket.se / Kijiji / Thread
I've always thought stealing a Saab would be a really stupid idea. They are too uncommon to blend in, they are not worth anything, collectors don't exactly seek them out, and they are riddled with problems that only a loving owner would have the patience to really figure out. Plus theyre not usually fast enough to make a getaway.
I'll bet it was just a joyrider that stole it. Or someone who needed urgent transportation and the Saab was the easiest car to get into and start.
That said, I would find it flattering that someone would want to steal a classic Saab. I think this should go as a compliment to all classic Saab owners!

... Except that any 900 key will unlock the doors and start the engine as we discovered at the junkyard meet! As the parts get more and more hard to find (and costly on ebay), I hope that the thefts don't become more frequent.
There is no such thing as too low or too stiff.
