Awesome 86 spg

I suspect that interior has been partially redone. You can see that the seat leather isn't aged evenly as it normally would be.
It has the crazy spring elongation in the front.

I agree with you about the seats, but I still like it a lot, that car is beautiful.

This SPG is awesome. If this were available at this price close to me I would be all over it. Shipping to Hungary would be USD 2000 at least. One of the nicest Flat nosed 900s I have seen for sale in a long time.

I used to have that car. Not THAT car, but an 86 SPG. It had e codes, gauge package and momo steering wheel. Cost $900. I miss that car.

there's some hesitation on acceleration.

It's an 8 valve non-turbo 900 4dr: It's not hesitation it really DOES take that long to get up to speed!

You dont want. Its a 404 so its the gas engine which is reliable but soooo slow...and sooo loud. The soft top will make it worse. I think they cut a vw camper up and mounted it on the back...creative...kind of ghetto. If you want a mog buy a 416 or a u1300.

Yeah, looks like they've just stuck the back half of a vanagon on the back, thats really weird, and completely overkill, but I guess if you think an old unimog is a good camping vehicle, you would consider that sort of thing a good idea too...

I am fairly tempted to go look at this one -

But... I kind of already have 10 too many cars, and that exact car already in the fleet.

Is that SPG with someone on any of the boards? Sounds like a pretty stand-up person. Vintage-ey KTM (I think?) behind the car too.

I think that's Aaron Gravatos? Been a classic 900 guy since way before I was. It's probably a good car for a fair price.

I know there are not many Saabers that are into RC cars, but I bought one of these for myself.
