No pictures but could be an interesting buy, though one has to wonder why parts car and $1700obo are in the same sentence if it really is as well kept as he says.

I think I know this car, its rusty, but has some cool period mods, and the current owner has unrealistic ideas of it's value. Last I heard he was asking $4k though, so I guess $1700 is an improvement.

Yes, CIS was thru '84 on turbo cars, thru '87 or '88? on N/A cars.

I've heard you can stick a 16v in there and run it on CIS. A friend down the road at the local Indy just picked up a very similar '83 for $300 and got it running. Just had to clean out the whole CIS system and she drove great!
