Not a Saab, but one of the funniest Craigslist ads I have seen in a while:

Not a Saab, but very cool rig, and very well chosen engine swap:

Beautiful 1980 Saab 99 Turbo for sale in Sweden. Pricey, but looks to be worth it:

Something about the 1980 99 Turbos which is incredibly cool. Especially with go faster stripes on the side. At the same time makes one feel a little sad like the last days of disco.

'80 99 Turbo 2dr in Acacia green with the stripe kit... That's my dream car. If I was rich I'd be booking a flight to Sweden.
The kind of dirty that doesn't wash off

That green 99T is amazing. I love the Kermit skin seats.
Nailed it!...makes one feel a little sad like the last days of disco.

Ad says it is a 1991. Those wheels are Ronals...severely bent ones at that. Shelbys rarely bend...they tend to crack

Didn't have the year when i looked last night. I noticed the one was bent too. Did the ronals just fit on the later cars without changing the bolt pattern or is this an axle swap car?

There were nearly identical Ronals made for both the early and later cars. Every Ronal wheel was notoriously soft.

The later bolt pattern Ronals have the alignment dowel that's visible in the closeup of the wheel, the early bolt patter Shelby's do not. Quickest way I can tell them apart from a distance.

Where's RadioFlyer! Those seats are from 1979 and 1980 900 Turbos/EMSs.
Re: Craigslist / Fleabay / Blocket.se / Kijiji / Thread
That is one of the most famous stashes of 99 (and more) parts in the PNW. He is moving. Now would be a great time to deal. This is the same guy who sent off a very driveable/restorable 1979 900 EMS 3 door (blue) to the scraper a couple of years ago because "no one wanted it". In fact that set of seats (the 900 ones at least) came from that car. He is motivated!

I think I spoke with that guy when his stuff first went up on CL almost a year ago. He didn't seem to think that any were in good enough shape for what I was looking for. Would love to grab a spare set of skins - wish I could afford to ship it all.
