My brother bought this car. He's going to get someone to look at the body work and look into restoring it. He has a near perfect 5-door 1980. Makes my tired 1979 5-door look pedestrian. I'll tell him to get on here (at least more than I do).

Yup, it was yours. He really likes it! We finally had my 79 next to it. It's amazing how many changes occurred in one year. We took them to Carlisle this year.

I wanted to go to Carlisle and had the best of intentions, but work got in the way. Glad he is enjoying it. I believe it was among the best in the U.S. And that's including the one GM restored for $100k. Given business decisions like that, no wonder they had to file for bankruptcy.

Yeah, 900 EMSes were available with automatic transmissions. I think power steering too, though you can't tell if that car has it (reservoir would be under the brake master)

Is that 99 GL a factory color? I've seen pictures of that car specifically (and saved them) but never seen another 99 with that moss blue/green. There is a modern Mini color that is similar, and Fiat's Chiario Verde. Love those greens.
