Some interesting cars showed up in my area:

http://bellingham.craigslist.org/cto/5456056352.html

1968 SAAB 95 V4 wagon OF DOOM

Body: The Beast isn't pretty. She's blue, mostly, with a few dents and scrapes and weird shades here and there
- the rear seat has a seat back, but no seat bottom. I've no idea why, always been that way
- there is no floor for the rear cargo area, nor rear-facing seats; also, always been
- There is some extraneous wiring and plumbing doing mysterious things, as you do with a 50-year old car, but I never bothered cleaning it up, do so if you wish

A 72 Sonett and parts:

The wagon of DOOM belongs to Phil Lacefield and is probably a good deal for $2500. I think that bit about there being no floor in the cargo area is referring to the inner floor though the wording makes it sound like its rusted through.

Unfortunately the OE air dams are ABS plastic that becomes brittle with age and will fracture and break with very little
impact. To look OE it's hard to get the black ABS look after repairs and paint that this one has obviously had.
My EMS that has been driven a lot and lowered to some degree as well has an OE with quite a bit of black Gorilla tape holding it together. Looking at it recently up on the lift I was thinking that I need to pull all the old tape and redo it to make it look more respectable. I imagine one that has had fiberglass repairs is even more likely to break adjacent to the reinforced repairs.
But as a result of all this even complete and repaired are hard to find.

Beautiful looking 99. I'm holding out for a two door notchback but I texted the guy, it starts and idles but needs a battery, tune up and exhaust. The price is more than right...it just had to be a 4-door :-(

At first I was wondering of the house came with it, but this is unusually sweet. If it were a turbo or a stick, I'd be tempted. No affiliations, etc...

^^ I think that was on ebay a while back?

Sure is gorgeous, and while its a bit optimistic of a price its a very unique car and nice 99's seem to increasing in value...

It was on eBay and BAT I think, and the seller has it on our LA are Facebook pages too, has been for sale for months. I haven't seen it in person, but Arcadia is one town over from where I live now if any of you East coasters wants me to take a look at it for you.

I really like the color, it totally works.

The color is pretty cool and also having the mention in a printed magazine makes it nice. It is also nice to see someone pay such attention to a non-turbo non-notch 99. .. and a fucking automatic!? ;-)

My '80 5 door didn't have cracks as of 2013. For some reason, I've observed the thinner dashes to be less susceptible to cracking. Not that they don't go.

Just a note, I'm gonna bite on the 1980 900 and save it like I did the 1977 99. Thank you for the residual support. See you Sunday at the Swedish Cultural centre for pancake breakfast.

Awesome. You are going to love all the extra room in the engine bay over your 99. Of course they crammed more parts in there.
Being an Asian guy, I'm quite the novelty at the Swedish Cultural Center. Been a couple times.

Congrads on the new purchase.
