Kind of cool, and free!:

1973 Saab Sonett III fiberglass body free to a good home. The chassis metal is beyond repair but I would be happy to help load the shell on to a trailer for someone. This was a donor car for another project so the nose is burgundy and remainder of shell is red. This body has a sunroof that looks like it was factory/dealer installed. Please come get it soon as the little lady is cranky about my lawn ornaments.

Perfect shell for something custom...Saab 2.3 turbo engine mated to the appropriate transaxle, long travel suspension....

Pretty sure this is Marc Fails 900 vert. If I hadn't just picked up exactly the same car I'd be interested as it seems like a decent price even if it needs a few weekends of work to fix the HG and turbo...

I saw this car somewhere else....it could be a decent project but the body worries me a bit. I have a suspicion that under that strangely chipping paint (sign of hasty respray at some point in cars history?) there is a world of expensive or time consuming rust repair.

Interesting '80 900 in MD for sale, looks like a ton of parts to go with it (including a ng900 control arm?), it looks like its in need of a paint job and you can't quite tell the rust situation but someone has put some money into this car at some point in its life.

Yeah I'd say it's a solid deal with all the extra parts even if the car needs some attention. I would be curious to see what some more detailed pictures reveal about the body work
