Beryl Green SPG in Boston for $600! I would grab it if I weren't broke on the other side of the country with 4 Saabs already stuffed into the driveway.

Drew, I just checked out that eBayUK seller with the 79 stuff. He has a 120mph speedo. I have seen 85mph and even 130mph, but never a 120mph. Would that fit an '80? Which 900 did the 120 and 130 mph speedos come on?

"Tweaked" '87 SPG in NC. $5000. The interior sold me. He says the seat covers come with the car! I wonder if he'll include the sweet glove box door emblems as well? ... I'm a dirtbag.

I'm still trying to figure out how he can see around that tach? And did he know when he put it in that the c900 already has a tach? Did he not see it right there? IT'S RIGHT THERE!!!!
... oh wait, he blocked it with the aftermarket boost gauge. Yeah, he must have REALLY babied that car. Sounds like a high school kid. (My profuse apologies if the owner is someone on this board who is not a high school kid)

I thought it wasn't the size that counted....
Unless it's the size of your tach I guess.

Wtt saab 9000 turbo for crx
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/3408123552.html
This was the actual car that I was looking at buying about two years ago. It would have been my first car and first SAAB (Although I am 25). 85,000 miles, second owner (he was the friend of the original owner). Car was in great shape. He wanted $300 for it. But he made it sound like it needed major engine work, and I didn't know anything about cars back then. It turns out it wasn't a major issue and he just didn't know anything about working on them either.
A year ago I contacted the owner asking to buy it since I had the confidence that I could handle the issues, and it turns out he sold it the week before to this current owner, who is some kid who got excited about the turbo badges. He had an AD up for a long while hoping to trade it for a Japanese turbo car. He's pretty flaky, last May we had come to a solid agreement that I'd buy the car from him for $500 (he said it didn't run, bad fuel pump). While at Uhaul, about to hand my debit card to the cashier to rend the car trailer, I call him one last time to give him a heads up that we were on our way. He says "nvm, I'm going to wait a bit before selling it"
Lesson learned, I should have gone over and bought it before making tow arrangements, but at least I found out he changed his mind before I rented the trailer.
It kind of sounds like he's turned it into a bit of a rat's nest, I had always regretted not buying the car, but I picked up an '88 9000 turbo a week and a half ago that was in even better shape, so no more regrets...
